The glossary that I put through together would certainly help out the new or intrigued students of the field of study. - Asset
- Noun
- Anything tangible or intangible that is capable of being owned or controlled to produce value and that is held to have positive economic value.
- Example: My father has multiple assets such as businesses, real-estate and cars.

- Bankruptcy
- Noun
- A legal status of a person or other entity that cannot repay the debts it owes to creditors. In most jurisdictions, bankruptcy is imposed by a court order, often initiated by the debtor.
- Example: My uncle struggled with his business, so he declared for bankruptcy.

- Noun
- A payment made or an entitlement available in accordance with a wage agreement, an insurance policy, or a public assistance program.
- Example: I have a lot of benefits at my new job.

- Wealth in the form of money or other assets owned by a person or organization or available or contributed for a particular purpose such as starting a company or investing.

- Noun
- Good faith deposit made by a buyer to underline his or her commitment to complete the deal.

- Example: I got a loan from TD Bank for $100,000.
